Gingerbread Vodka
This is such a treat for an upgraded cocktail! Yes, you could easily just use regular vodka in your beverages but this is such a delightful and unexpected flavour. Try it in your next Moscow mule or Gingerbread cookie martini.
Ingredients
1/2 cup Ginger, chopped
2 Cinnamon sticks
1 Vanilla bean, split lengthwise*
5 Nutmeg pods
10 Cloves
1 litre Vodka
Instructions
In a clean 1 litre container add all ingredients and mix well.
Set aside for 4 days**.
Strain into a 1 litre bottle and store until needed.
Tips:
* I know vanilla beans can be hard to find or are too expensive; substitute with 3 tsp of pure vanilla extract.
** Infuse for longer than 4 days for a more intense flavour.
