Oven Cooked Bacon

Okay I know many of you already have been making bacon in the oven for eons, but I recently “discovered” it and wanted to share with all of you. This is a great way to make a large amount of bacon, all at once. Perfect for a brunch party or a meal prep day. Plus if you use both aluminum foil and parchment paper, clean up will be a breeze!

Ingredients

500g    Bacon

Instructions

  1. Adjust oven racks, so you've got one in the centre.
  2. Preheat oven onto 400F.
  3. Line two rimmed baking sheets with aluminum foil.
  4. Cover the bottom of each pan with a sheet of parchment paper.
  5. Line half of package of bacon on one baking sheet and the other half on the second baking sheet.
  6. Cook in the oven for 12-20 minutes (depending on desired crispiness).
  7. Place on a paper towel lined plate to help absorb some of the grease.
  8. Enjoy

Tips:

  • Once pan is cooled, carefully remove foil and place in the garbage! Clean up is done!!!!
  • Bacon can be refrigerated up to 7 days and can be frozen.
